摘要
In the paper the phase - locking of 7 - core optical fibre doped with Yb(3+) ions is presented. The influence of material and optical fibers geometrical parameters on the shape of the pattern in the Fraunhofer diffraction region has been analyzed. The analysis of coupling coefficient between cores which influences on the phase locking and in the consequence on the far - field pattern of the fibre laser based on the analyzed multicore optical fibre was performed. As a result of the conducted analysis a double-clad optical fiber with 7 - cores doped with ytterbium has been designed and fabricated. Luminescence spectra and far - field pattern of the manufactured fibre was measured.
