PREMISES FOR THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE CONTEMPORARY UNIVERSITY

摘要
Faced with the progressive growth of new communication technologies, computing, technique, robotics, knowledge, and, at the same time, the appearance of more and more environmental disasters, diseases, specifically COVID-19, which have aggravated prospects for the planet's sustainability, universities have a role to play in achieving global survival. All countries and their leaders must focus on finding alternatives to face this reality, they must support universities in finding concrete answers to this endeavor. This work offers an approach to this purpose, providing premises that reveal the sustainability perspectives of the university in contemporary training, it is based on a predominantly hermeneutical methodology of interpretation, explanation, triangulation and systematization of research which account for this problematic.
