摘要
In this study, we introduce a subwavelength periodic thin plate array into an acoustic metasurface and investigate the modulation effect on acoustic surface waves. Both anomalous sound refraction and reflection are observed in the metasurface, and an analytic expression is derived to clarify the underlying mechanism. We theoretically prove that flexible beam steering can be realized by phase gradient acoustic metasurfaces with deep subwavelength periodic modulation. This study potentially adds another degree of freedom to controlling sound transmission by using an acoustic metasurface. Published by AIP Publishing.
