摘要
The micro-cutting deformation mechanism is an important research content in the micro-machining mechanism. Various physical phenomena in metal cutting, such as cutting force, cutting heat, tool wear and surface quality, are based on the cutting deformation process. In this paper, the micro-cutting test of oxygen-free copper (OFC) was carried out by using orthogonal cutting device to study the deformation behavior during the chip formation process. The results show that the ratio of chip thickness to cutting edge radius and precutting angle have a great influence on chip formation. Cutting parameters have a great influence on micro-cutting fracture zone, chip deformation and surface quality.
