摘要
To meet the requirements of real-time and missioncritical applications in vehicular networks, mobile edge computing (MEC) has become an emerging ecosystem that extends the centralized cloud computing capability to the edge close to terminal devices. Although MEC can bring various benefits, such as high-efficiency use of mobile backhaul networks, coping with the ever-increasing demands of ubiquitous connectivity, energy-efficient computation, and ultralow latency is still challenging. Nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technology is acknowledged as a promising solution to provide massive connectivity and ubiquitous communications in 5G. © 2005-2012 IEEE.
