摘要
A finite element model for a disc type transformer is built using the FEM software "Ansys". The analysis is carried out to solve the magnetic field and then the electromagnetic force on the windings. The magnetic flux density and the electromagnetic force distributions in transformer windings are obtained from the computing results. Furthermore taking advantage of the build-in function of "Ansys" parametric programming language APDL, the elements in each winding disc are identified and then the magnetic forces exerted on separate discs can be extracted from the calculation results. These magnetic forces on separate discs may provide accurate force data for the mechanical strength analysis.
