Arthroscopic repair of posterior instability and reverse humeral glenohumeral ligament avulsion lesions

Posterior glenohumeral subluxation is more common than once believed. Defects of the posterior capsular restraint can occur adjacent to the glenoid, midsubstance, or laterally as an avulsion from the humeral head (RHAGL). Repair of the posterior capsular restraints, reduction of the rotator capsular interval, and repair of additional lesions superiorly and anteriorly can return most patients to physical activity.
