摘要
As one special soil, expansive soil has many disadvantageous features, such as water swelling and dry shrinkage. Those features are not advantageous to tunnel construction in expansive soil region which is easy to cause the tunnel surrounding rock to deformation subjected to the condition of wet and dry cycles. In order to investigate the deformation mechanism of expansive soil tunnel, the finite element model is found and used to analyze the deformation vector, strain and stress during different conditions of wet and dry cycles. It can be obtained that the wet condition is more disadvantageous for expansive soil tunnel construction than that of dry condition. And, the continuous condition of wet and dry cycles are easy to bring the large deformation for tunnel surrounding rock.
