摘要
The use of the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method to model passive lumped elements (ie., capacitors, inductors, and resistors) placed in parallel or series with a simple, lossless, one-dimensional (I-D) transmission line is shown and discussed. The accuracy of the derived FDTD update equations is demonstrated by comparing the calculated voltage reflected fr om each of the lumped elements (loads), when placed in a section of a transmission line excited by Gaussian and differentiated Gaussian voltage pulses, with exact analytic results.
