摘要：

This paper introduces ICY: a new GPL open source software providing an integrated and innovative multi platform development environment for image analysis applications. The aim of this framework is to create a common flexible platform for both applied mathematicians developing new algorithms and biologists seeking for a powerful and intuitive tool for image analysis.
