摘要
This paper presents a model for the small signal analysis in island microgrids, that includes the effect of time constants and droop controls as the effect of the frequency in the parameters of the grid. It is demonstrated that high values of the time constant and/or the droop constant could lead to unstable operation. However, the microgrid is robust to changes of cable length, power factor and scenarios of generation. A Newton's algorithm, particularly designed for island operation of microgrids, is also proposed. This algorithm demonstrates to be highly accurate in comparison to the stationary state point obtained by solving (numerically) the dynamic model.
