摘要
To investigate the effect of exogenous enzymes on fermentation and in vitro rumen anaerobic bacterial growth, sesame straw (SS) was treated with 0, 1, 3 and 5 g/kg exogenous enzyme. Enzyme increased disappearance of dry matter and neutral detergent fibre of SS by bacteria in a dose dependent manner (P < 0.05). Highest level of enzyme resulted in the highest gas production, metabolisable energy, organic matter digestibility, ammonia-N and short chain fatty acid concentrations. It may be concluded that the growth and activity of rumen anaerobic bacteria on SS is favourably influenced by exogenous enzyme content.
