Thermodynamic characteristics of adsorption such as the adsorption equilibrium constant, heat of adsorption and differential change of standard entropy of adsorption of different classes organic compounds at small coverage on the relatively large fullerene C-60 molecular crystals were determined by gas chromatography. The comparison of adsorption data for organic compounds with different functional groups on fullerene C-60 and on graphitized carbon black shows the differences in molecular interaction of adsorbed molecules with crystal C-60 and graphite surfaces. The contributions of fragments of adsorbed molecules to the adsorption equilibrium constant and heats of adsorption were calculated also which make it possible to evaluate the thermodynamic characteristics of adsorption for great number of compounds and understand the mechanism of adsorption on fullerene crystal. The comparison of data for fullerene C-60 crystal and graphitized carbon black make it possible to determine the peculiarity of interaction of compounds with these surfaces.
