Urban management and private works in the Modern Age: the case of Sines

Based on documents produced by the Municipality of Sines during the Modern Period, and in comparison with the existing procedures and norms for urban management, this article aims to know the practices in the case of Sines, a peripheral and small town located on the coast of the region of Campo de Ourique. It seeks to identify it in the contemporary documents produced by the Cmara de Sines, namely the vereaes and provimentos, and in the case of Sines licensing is a poorly documented area, unlike space management, within the scope of urban management.
