摘要
The combination of 4,4'-(9-fluorenylidene)diphenol with simple organic linkers resulted in the formation of a range of hydrogen-bonded frameworks with small guest molecules included in either cavities or channels within the structure. The structures of these host-guest compounds, as well as their properties, were investigated. It was found that the guest in one of these frameworks can be exchanged for a number of other solvents, and, in addition, selectivity experiments showed that this host framework preferentially includes acetone over tetrahydrofuran. Some of these structures can be formed mechanochemically by liquid-assisted grinding.
