摘要:
The objective of this paper is to present the results obtained this far in the ESPRIT project no 22367 QUETA covering the development of new IT-based tools for TQM in flexible manufacturing and complex assembly with small batches. The R&D activities in QUETA are presented, including new approaches and tools for: (.)Quality focused analysis of complex assembly (.)Error analysis of manufacturing processes (.)Generation of cost-effective action plans The development of several demonstrators that will test the applicability and quantitative assessment regarding the benefits of QUETA tools in different manufacturing scenarios are described and the function of a prototype set up is demonstrated. Plans for exploitation of the QUETA results which include the effective dissemination and installation of the QUETA tools within the users' enterprises and IT product objectives of the vendors are discussed.
