摘要
Numerical methods used for computing electromagnetic fields in both low and high frequency applications in industry are reviewed. Comparative strengths and weaknesses are explored and particular successes noted. Contemporary research activities that may exert a strong influence on future developments in software production to meet the needs of industry are also discussed.
