摘要
In this work, we report experimental study of material removal mechanism during laser ablation of silicon and zirconium target. Scanning electron microscope, a quartz microbalance and a charge collector device have been employed to investigate the evolution of, mass removal mechanism and crater morphology. The experimental results were well correlated. The fast increase of the mass removal above threshold laser density, formation of pores and cavities on the irradiated target surface, occurs at the same laser intensity.
