Specific technical problems are associated with the management of patients who have either of the two types of right-sided arches and aneurysms of the aortic arch and descending aorta. Two different approaches to addressing these problems, depending on the predominant congenital vascular anatomy, are presented. © 2001 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
