Table tennis as a dominant sports event cut a figure many times in Olympic Games. The training modes of table tennis also present certain diversity. On this basis, this paper analyzes multi-ball training in table tennis training. Compared with other sports types, table tennis pays more attention to improvement of open sports skills. Hence, table tennis training modes are more flexible and varied. Chinese famous table tennis coach Li Rensu referred to foreign advanced experience and introduced multi-bal training mode to China. Such mode owns strong flexibility and can help learners master sports skills rapidly. Hence, it has occupied certain position in table tennis training in China. This paper analyzes the advantages and defects of multi-ball training and proposes several opinions.
