Experimental study of leachate treatment in a landfill of Shenzhen

摘要：
A bench-scale process for leachate treatment (Ammonia-stripping + Anaerobic biofilter + Aerobic SBR) was setup and tested in Xiaping landfill of Shenzhen. The results show that the effluent limits for COD, BOD5, NH3-N and TN of GB8978-1996 can be achieved constantly. The remove efficiencies of COD and NH3-N are up to 94% and 97%, respectively.
