摘要
The objective of this study was to remove metal-complex dyes (Acid Blue 193 and Acid Black 194) from wastewater using organic-matter-rich substances (low-moor peals, brown coal and compost) in a batch adsorption experiment. The parameters in Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were analysed using regression and non-regression models. The results demonstrated the potential of the investigated cost-effective sorbents for metal-complex dye removal over a wide range of initial concentrations. There was no influence of nitro groups on the effectiveness of the removal of dyes by organic sorbents. Langmuir isotherms were the best- fit of adsorption isotherm models for experimental data using non-linear regression.
