摘要
Due to the continuous growth of technology, we can easily transfer data from one place to another. At the same time the data is more likely to be hacked by the attacker. So, in order to transfer the data securely to the destination without any modifications, there are many approaches like cryptography and steganography. Data is the most valuable thing today from an individual to an organization because of it large size and useful information. But it is vulnerable and is more prone to attacks. Steganography hides selected files securely in a file system in such a way that without the corresponding access keys, an attacker would not be able to find their existence. Many steganography systems assure reliable data security over the internet. Still there are vulnerabilities which cause threat from attacker. B+trees are fast indexing method and increase performance. The aim of this project is to introduce an efficient and strong approach for hiding secret message within image by using B+tree as a tool to compress the secret message, and an efficient steganographic algorithm for hiding text files in images for security.
