摘要
We study collective excitations of a quantum dot consisting of two electrons using a time-dependent density-matrix approach. The advantages of the density-matrix approach are that one- and two-body observables are directly calculated using one- and two-body density matrices and that it has a clear relation to the time-dependent Hartree-Fock theory. Some low-lying spin modes associated with intrinsic transitions of a deformed configuration are predicted.
