摘要：

In this paper, we give the basic steps of automatic registration of SAR images, analyze and describe in detail the key techniques in every step. Due to the special imaging mode of SAR, the SAR image registration is different from the common image registration in some way, such as the preprocessing for radiometric corrections and speckle noise suppression. At last, we give the difficulty and current trends of SAR image registration.
