摘要
A biological pathway is commonly represented as a graph like structure using circles and arrows with some annotations. To make this knowledge accessible we need to extract pathway information from articles and have to store them in a knowledge base. A graph theory based notation of pathways was presented. Data of this graphical notation can be queried through our graph query as a Web Service. The biological interpretation of each graph queries were demonstrated by a Java application, which is an attributed compound graph editor/visualizer.
