摘要
OBJECTIVE. This article will review the current literature regarding the detection of thyroid nodules with an emphasis on CT diagnosis. We will also discuss management strategies. CONCLUSION. With advances in cross-sectional imaging, the detection of incidental thyroid nodules has increased significantly. Detection of thyroid nodules is common on chest CT that is being performed for unrelated reasons. The workup of these nodules can be time-consuming and expensive.
