An overview over past and present activities and technical developments in the Toulouse pulsed magnetic field facility is given. Results obtained recently with a 60 T, 150 ms, 1.25 MJ prototype magnet tested with the new 14 MJ generator are presented. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
