摘要
The characteristic of wind load on surfaces of mega structure, of which some columns and beams extrude, has been studied deeply by wind tunnel tests of rigid model. The paper analyzes the distribution of wind pressure on the surface of the mega structure. The results of the test are as follows: the distribution of wind load along height is not general triangle, but is bigger in the middle and smaller at the two end of the structure, so it is reasonable that body coefficient of mega structure has different value at different height. Secondly, the wind coefficient on extruding beams and columns is the same as on their adjacent plane in the windward, but the situation change at the edge of the surface, all wind pressure coefficients are smaller. The more lower the position is, the more smaller the wind pressure is. Negative value of wind pressure coefficient possibly appears with height decreasing. The body coefficient of all surfaces on mega structure are bigger than the body coefficient of rectangular structure, which is stated in the load code of structures. The result of the test gives reasonable reference to design of fencing structures and decoration of lobby. The result of the paper is useful not only for calculation of wind load on mega structure and actual project, but also modification and supplementary of load code.
