摘要
Crystals of 3,4,5-triethoxybenzoic acid benzene solvate, 3,4,5-(C2H5O)(3)C6H2COOH center dot 0.25C(6)H(6), are monoclinic, space group P2/c, with the cell dimensions at 100 K: a = 18.729(3), b = 10.6475(17), c = 14.390(2) angstrom, beta = 98.410(2)degrees, V = 2838.7(8) angstrom(3), and Z = 8, Z' = 2. In the crystal structure two symmetrically independent molecules of 3,4,5-triethoxybenzoic acid form a planar dimer by two O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds.
