摘要
In this paper improvements on signal processing are achieved to enhance the performances of HF radar system, being unobtainable by the conventional signal processing. Using the improved signal processing both high range resolution and long coherent integration time may be obtained for good benefit to the target resolution and weak signal detection. Modification to the unmatched correspondence between range delay samples and range resolution cells saves an additional accumulation loss in the range processing. Finally, comparisons between the improved and the conventional signal processing are given by numerical simulation.
