摘要：

Fast and precise heating by microwave irradiation has emerged as a valuable tool in the solid-phase synthesis of difficult peptide sequences and protein domains. This paper describes the steps that led to the development of a new synthesis robot for microwave assisted solid-phase peptide synthesis. The paper concludes with some examples of the use of the instrument for the synthesis of difficult peptide sequences.
