摘要
The paper presents a coupled inductor-based soft-switched DC-DC synchronous buck converter for electric vehicle applications. A coupled inductor is introduced to control the output voltage for broad load variations. The operation of two switches is carried out in a complementary manner. The short-circuiting problem during the outgoing and incoming switch at turn ON or turn OFF is rectified using a blanking circuit. This paper presents a complete design and analysis for a 300W soft switched synchronous buck converter, and the result obtained is verified with mathematical analysis and experimental results. The maximum efficiency obtained is 94.8%.
