摘要
Here, we prepare a n-n-type heterojunction with excellent magnetic properties synthesized via a simple chemical coprecipitation method. The magnetic heterojunction is composed of a soft-magnetic component, ZnFe2O4 and a hard-magnetic component, SrFe12O19. The photocatalytic activity of magnetic heterostructure is shown to be better than that of pure semiconductor under visible light irradiation. The enhancement of photocatalytic activity is interpreted in detail in this work. In fact, the prepared ZnFe2O4-SrFe12O19 magnetic composite has potential application in antimicrobial activity under ultraviolet light irradiation and in magnetic carrier system for magnetic drug-targeting delivery.
