摘要
This manuscript investigate the performance of Dynamic Voltage Restorer for compensate different voltage sag levels with different faults and to decrease the Total Harmonic Distortion during the alleviation process. The DVR is implemented with three phase voltage source inverter and is tied at the point of common coupling in order to normalize the load side voltage. The compensation is based on PI with Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation Technique. Extensive simulation analysis under diverse magnitude of sag for faults on load side for balanced and unbalanced conditions is conduct using fault generator. Simulation result examination reveals that DVR performs perfectly with PI based Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation Technique. In addition, potential and performance of DVR for various energy storage capacities and insertion transformer evaluation be also analyzed. The performance of these controllers is validated with simulation result using PSCAD/EMTDC.
