摘要
Crohn's disease (CD) is an idiopathic inflammatory bowel disease that primarily needs medical treatment. However, surgery has always played an important role in both preventing and treating complications of this chronic bowel disease. Important aspects of surgical treatment of CD are timing of surgery, choice of surgical procedure and perioperative management. The aim of this review is to create an up-to-date overview of all aspects of surgical management of CD. Copyright (C) 2011 S. Karger AG, Basel
