摘要
In the present work the photoluminescent (PL) properties of Zn2SiO4:Mn nanocrystalline phases formed in thin-film SiO2 matrices were studied by means of ion implantation and high-temperature annealing. Manganese-free SiO2:Zn+ samples were used as a reference. The green and yellow light emission observed is associated with point defects inside alpha- and beta-Zn2SiO4 nanoparticles. Sensitizer role was confirmed for Mn impurity, which leads to growing intensity and shortened PL decay kinetics. The results obtained may be used to tune the optical properties of the nanocomposite under study.
