Paper concerns the small water reservoir Psurow located in km 212.095 of river Prosna, Opole province. Psurow reservoir is one of nine of small dam reservoirs situated in Opole province. Reservoir is 4.58 ha, and capacity 63 000 m(3). The research was conducted from November 2006 to October 2008. The aim of the study was to assess the influence of reservoir on the quality of water in the reservoir and below reservoir. The assessment was based on the testing of the quality of the inflowing and outflowing water from the reservoir as far as the concentrations of PO(4)(3-), NO(3)(-), NO(2)(-) and NH(4)(+) are concerned. Having flowed through the reservoir, the concentration of phosphates, nitrates(V), nitrates(III) and ammonia were determined.
