摘要
Titanium doped Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite [Tix(Ni0.12Cu0.28Zn0.6Fe2O4+delta)(1-x)] was synthesized by solid state reaction. In present work, the impact of Ti doping is investigated in Tix(Ni0.12Cu0.28Zn0.6Fe2O4+delta)(1-x) ferrite by varying the concentration of the Ti4+ with x = 0.003, 0.0765, 0.15. Structural electrical and magnetic properties have been explored using X-ray diffraction (XRD), FTIR, dielectric spectroscopy and Squid Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) techniques. XRD patterns reveal the formation of the cubic spinel phase in the samples. The mean crystallite size of the samples determined from XRD line broadening is 35.18 - 44.68 nm. The dielectric constants are found to vary as a function of frequency and composition at room temperature. It is observed that with the increase in the concentration of Ti4+ ions, the dielectric constant increases. Using VSM technique magnetic measurements are done at 100K and 300 K. It is found that the saturation magnetisation decrease with the increasing concentration of tetravalent titanium. (C) 2015Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
