摘要
In this study we evaluate the importance of using angle- and temperature-dependent external quantum efficiency measurements, EQE(alpha, T), of a III-V triple-junction solar cell as input in optical simulations of a high concentration (847 X) receiver. The receiver is designed to broaden angular acceptance up to 70 degrees to the normal. To understand better the impact of the overall configuration, finger orientation is also taken into account; fingers are positioned parallel or perpendicular to the incident beam during EQE(, T) measurements. Angle-and temperature-dependence of J(SC) and V-OC are calculated from the experimental data. Calculated J(sc) values show a decrease of roughly 7% at 80 degrees C.
