摘要
We propose a laser manipulation system using a liquid-crystal (LC) tens with variable-focusing and beam deflection functions for the transmitted laser beam. Three-dimensional trapping and manipulation of microscopic particles can be demonstrated by focusing and deflecting the laser beam, and the position of the captured particles can be controlled by adjusting the applied voltage without any mechanical movements.
