"BEING WHO I AM": ADOLESCENT AND HOMOSEXUAL IN A PUBLIC SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CAMPOS DOS GOYTACAZES/RJ

The objective of this article is to present the experience report of a homosexual adolescent when his insertion in a school of the municipal public network of Campos dos Goytacazes, a municipality located in the North/Northwest Region of the state of Rio de Janeiro. The willingness of the young person to make public his experience and grant the interview justifies the choice of the case that, although not generalized, is representative of a segment that has been suffering discrimination and prejudice in school due to his sexual orientation, when he does not escape. As a methodology we used the interview (conducted in March 2017) and the literature review of part of academic production on the subject. With this reflection we intend to offer theoretical and empirical elements for the construction of a fairer and more egalitarian school environment at all its levels and relationships.
