摘要
In this paper, we adopt the two-layer linguistic spatial query processing system to increase the retrieval flexibility of image data. A flexible system framework for linguistic spatial object queries is proposed for retrieving ambiguous and not-accurately processed images and for users with their own expectations and interpretations. A fuzzy image retrieval system forms the core part. It can evaluate the similarity degrees between queries and images in a fuzzy way and output the promising ones. Users can also update the definitions of the spatial relations in the system according to their intensions.
