摘要
Various types of teaching style have been embedded in student learning. Different teaching approach gives different impact to a student's ability to learn computational programming. This paper addresses the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) capability as one of the most viable teaching methods towards assisting both lecturer and students in the programming course. There is a common idea indicates that programming is a very difficult course and failure rates are evident to a big challenge to computing educators. A details investigation of possibilities for the adoption of NLP techniques, its advantages, and application in teaching programming is highlighted. The findings show that computing educators can improve their teaching style with the use of communication elements and sensory preferences. Computer educators could begin to change the method of teaching programming and enable educators to shift from the traditional teaching methods as well as focus on the students' individual learning needs and style. It is suggested the details procedure of utilization of NLP as one of teaching style should be created and evaluated since NLP has clearly shown a significant tool to be adopted in teaching style.
