At a time when many Americans are disregarding principles of good health and failing to adopt a healthy diet, Dr. Lenhard, Professor of Oncology and Medicine and Director of Community Programs at the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center in Baltimore, Maryland, and President of the American Cancer Society, briefly outlines the importance of promoting a healthy lifestyle and calls the American Cancer Society guidelines ''a beacon of good sense to guide us in our daily lives.''
