摘要
Considering the dependence of the elements in a common cause group, this paper illustrates the important characteristic of common cause failure by means of system-level load-strength interference reliability model. Based on discretization of system load, the universal generating function technique used for the analysis of multi-state systems is extended to the case where common cause failures are involved. Its feasibility and effectiveness are shown by an example.
