摘要
This paper describes real-time performance verification environment to realize multi-media networking environment using super-integratged data-driven processor in one-chip. The authors have studies super-integrated data-driven processors named CUE-series. It has been shown that our CUE processors have ideal multi-processing capability without any runtime overhead. At the same time, the authors have developed reuse-oriented data-driven specification environment to support detecting side-effects in reusing software components. The authors are currently developing Real-time Execution System for CUE-series data-driven processors; RESCUE that consists of the specification environment and the pipeline-level processor emulator crucial for performance verification to realize robust system considering vacillation of input rate, exceptions and dynamic load balancing. This paper focuses on cooperation facility between the specification environment and the emulator. Overview of RESCUE is first described. Minimizing verification and evaluation costs in RESCUE is then discussed. Through preliminary evaluations, it is shown that interactive verification and emulation in RESCUE are possible.
