摘要
The rapid development of electronic systems and telecommunications has results in a growing and intense interest in microwave electromagnetic absorber technology. Recently, extensive research conducted to develop efficient fiber composite material. The demand for the development of reliable non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques for fiber composite materials' is ever increasing. Among the few available methods, microwave technique seems promising for non-destructive testing of fiber composite materials and structures. In this paper a non-contact microwave system for evaluation of rubber wood fiber are presented. Rubber composites containing wood fiber fractions of 0, 10, and 20% by weight were developed and fabricated. The mechanical and microwave properties of these composites were measured. The results shows that microwave system used in this study can be used as nondestructive evaluation tool for composite material.
