Median rankit control chart for Weibull distribution

Weibull data are considered for the development of a quality control chart by using a quantile approach. The model validation of the given data indicates that a power distribution will be a better rt. Hence, the median rankit control charts for both Weibull and power distributions were considered for the validation. The analysis by quantile approach in this paper indicates that a power control chart is more desirable than the Weibull control chart for such data.
