摘要
The article deals with the achievements of Slavic cognitive linguistics and shows the methodology used in one of its branches, the theory of linguistic conceptology. The cognitive structure of the SEMANA SANTA concept and its representation in Spanish are identified and analyzed. The peculiarities of the representation of the concept SANTA SEMANA in Spanish are revealed through the identification of cognitive characteristics and patterns in its structure. As the source of the material for the analysis are used the diagnostic contexts of the Spanish Corpus of the 21st Century of the Spanish Royal Academy. The results indicate that the concept SEMANA SANTA is the image of the celebration of the Easter and includes in its cognitive structure a series of cognitive features based on possessive, attributive, comparative, objective, subjective cognitive patterns, the pattern of interiority and the process pattern. The value layer of the analyzed concept is represented in the contexts by the combinations with the words with the positive and negative connotation that confirms the ambivalent assessment of the studied mental formation.
